Hi ted02uk, thanks for your welcome here. I suppose what I meant by
criticism was the chance that there may be people out there who have
home tutored and regretted it. I didn't explain my self well!!! LOL
It's such a huge thing to make a choice about, not least the fact
that I won't be able to work!! Hampshire North and South do not seem
to be much noted for a friendly LEA over Aspergers etc and there's so
much to consider in taking a child of my son's age out of mainstream
education. I guess I was just looking to hear from anyone who has
taken this route, good or bad :) I have been looking for a move of
house recently and have been offered one in West Wales...does anyone
know about the LEA there?? Are they ok?? Many thanks again for your
