Re: [sentrycircle] yule

Thanks for that Beth.

I was at the very first stone raising gathering in 2005 and moved here to Gibraltar in 2006 to be with my now wife Carole who one day I hope will be able to join myself to Sentry Circle in the beautiful wild Country Side of North Yorkshire.

I was hoping before I came to live in Gibraltar that I could visit the site one more time and help raise another stone but due to on going problems at that time I was unable to do so. Of course I can always say in years to come that a little piece of me is at Sentry Circle I suppose.

It is good to be kept up to date with progress on the project being made and though I may not put a lot in the forum I tend to keep an eye out for events.

What else is planned for Sentry Circle have you any ideas? I for one would like to see that when the project is finnished that not only can it be used for spiritual gatherings but maybe give young people an idea of what the past was like and how it is still alive today.

I met many a nice person at the one and only Stone Raising event I attended. I came with some people called Martin and Kath Hazel and their kids. I was introduced to Paganism by these two people when I was Martin's care worker from September 2004 through to around May 2005. Like a lot of other people I crossed the line has I put it from Christianity to Paganism. My wife is an ex  JW and always as took interest into Paganism etc.

Right time to stop the waffling for now but again Blessings and Greetings from Gibraltar.

Andy and Carole

PS I am the only Pagan here I believe in Gibraltar oh well I was always told I different lol. Nothing changes.

Its quiet on here at the moment - I guess we are all busy!

Thanks for your lovely message, Andy.
My pet hate is fireworks being sold to all & sundry (especially the sundry! lol) - Gibraltar sounds much more sensible!

Blessings to all - may you have a Cool Yule, and here's to the stones we'll raise next year!

Here I keep the peace and we do Yule,Christmas and the New Year it works well and of course respects every ones beliefs. Gibraltar is a lovely place at this time of the Year .

At New Year the Government put on entertainement for the people. There are live bands and when the clock strikes 12 a big fireworks display. The only fireworks allowed are by organinised displays.

Wishing everyone a Peaceful and Happy Yule and all the sucess for a sucessful 2008.

Regards from Gibraltar

Love and Light Andy.
