RABBIT...Firstly, I'd like to thank Carol for holding her skinning rabbit
workshop at the Beltane camp, my experience which I'd like to share with the
group came about beacause of this workshop.
I cook/carve meat everyday, no thought goes into it. I enjoyed the skinning
proceedure of the workshop, it was like colouring in as a child, you know when
you get lost in what your doing and all around you fades away. When I had to
remove the head of the animal, my legs turned to jelly, something happened. No
more did I regard this as just a piece of meat, I had to cut thru the bone & It
felt wierd. Carol told me to bury the head which I did & thanked the rabbit in
my own way.

R.E.M...I'm a dreamer, for as long as I remember, I have always had strong vivid
dreams, sometimes they help me, if I've got a situation going on in my life its
like trawling thru it all & when I wake, solution to my problem! About a week
after Beltane, I dreamt that I was in a biology disection class, and here was my
rabbit on the slab, to cut a long story short my rabbit turned into a baby &
pleaded with me to save it from my colleagues in the class, the baby told me it
had a soul.

REINCARNATION...I have an A level in biology & consider myself quite a matter of
fact person. When debating reincarnation in the past my views have always been,
you can all think what you like but my interpretaion was we reincarnate
genetically. My kids hold 50% of my genes so I have biologically reincarnated.
Thoughts of me coming back as a daffodil is only something that comes to mind
when I'm using illegal substances:)

When I woke from my dream, my head was mashed! My theory of 'when your dead ya
dead' was blown out of the water! I've laid out many dead bodies due to work,
and always given the folk the respect I would when alive, I respected Carols
rabbit. I felt so connected to the baby in my dream I protected it. Maybe we
aint dead when were dead?
