Hi one and all.
First thankyou to every one who came along last week end to our tree
plants day, great fun and a sense of achievement felt by all.A BIG
thanks to Oliver and Swin from the ''Sacred Brigantian Trust'' for
provideing the trees complete with guards and posts and leading the
planting. Had thought that the area near the farm gate we could
call ''Brigantia corner'' as a way of saying thankyou to the SBT, the
area at the top of the hill along from our circle have named ''Peace
garden'' and the far area is simply ''Tranquillity''.
On the subject of Swin and tree's at the Sunday morning Pow Wow I
asked Swin if we could use her beautiful song ''Tree's'' as our anthem
with her singing it of course to which she agreed, thankyou Swin.To
our musician's thankyou.
Sam also ran a drumming workshop for us, thankyou Sam.
Thanks to Dave, Ron and helpers for the continueing barn converstion
work and to Joss as well for being camp cook. If I have missed any
one, sorry.
Now some dates for your diaries as to when we have camps planned with
Stone Raiseing.
Week end 18th/19th March (Spring Equinox)
Week end 29th/30thApril/1stMay in association with Beltane at
Thornborough Henges (Sacred Brigantian Trust)
Week end 1st/2nd July
Week end 25th to 28th August(Bank Holiday) This is the big one when we
will alsorts of workshops running as well as stalls. The ''Sentry
Circle''Festival infact!
Week end 23rd/24th September.
The August bank holiday camp will be an all ticket do.
Will put these date's into the calander on this site and put on the
other site as well.
Any one who would like to come along to help with any project other
that camp week ends are welcome.
