Celebrate the ancient Celtic festival of Beltane at one of Britain's
most important prehistoric sacred sites.

Thornborough Henge, near Ripon in North Yorkshire, is a 5,000 year
old ritual enclosure. Over a mile in length, this unique triple
henge monument is astronomically aligned with the three stars of
Orion's Belt.

Beltane at Thornborough Henge is an annual event at which a diverse
group of people come together to celebrate the return of the sun and
the beginning of the summer months.

Camping for the entire weekend is available at a choice of two
beautiful locations (driving distance from the henges) starting at
£3 a night. In fact, each campsite has it's own wonderful new stone
circle, one finished and one still under construction!
