Hi Jos,
A brief view of how I see the willow.
Willow makes the finest charcoal and so is synonymous with those who
study and express themselves through art and the written word. It's
wood is fantastically strong and supple, (it's used for cricket bats
and weaving amongst many other things). Symbolic of those with
intelligence and wisdom, for when the cold, harsh winds of winter blow
this tree knows to yeild in the face of such fierce adversity, but
when spring arrives it will bounce back stronger than ever.
