Hi all,

Just to let you know I did a phone interview on Sunday night with a
woman who is writing an article on breasts in the context of raunch
culture and how objectification of women's bodies affects us all. She
only emailed me on Friday night to ask for Sheffield Fems' views on
this, so I didn't have time to get everyone's opinions, but this is
something we've chatted about a lot so I hope you don't mind that I
spoke for everyone. I've asked if we can have a copy when it's
published - I didn't quite catch the magazine she said she was writing
for - think it was called Thrid Wave - an academic, ethical, possibly
Christian (?) publication.

Hope everyone is well, I'm leaving for Paris next Sunday and have
already found a feminist 'Maison des Femmes' on the internet which
provides counselling for victims of male violence and organises
feminist activism, all female music sessions etc, so hopefully they'll
reply to my email and I can get involved.

Any thoughts on flyering for the group during freshers' weeks?!
