Parents and carers of UK children with disabilities/special needs are being
invited to take part in a new study about the experiences of disabled
students/children and their parents/carers. This is being carried out by
the School of Education, University of Birmingham and aims to find out
about the experiences of children and young people with disabilities at
school/college. The views of parents and carers are an important part of
the study and we are interested in how these views compare with the
perspectives of children/young people. Responses will feed into work by
the Disability Rights Commission about raising equality for disabled
people.

If you are not a parent or carer of a child/young person with
disabilities/ special needs but know of people in that position, please
forward this note to them.

This part of the study involves completing an online questionnaire. We
anticipate that the questionnaire will take about 10-15 minutes to
complete.

this. The last day for completing the questionnaire online is WEDNESDAY
23rd  FEBRUARY, 2005. At the end of that day, the questionnaire will be
