Hello
Two things today:
Firstly, we've heard that a very sweet cat with previous injuries needs a
peacful home where she can live. Her human companion is very reluctant to
re-home her, but is moving in with someone who is allergic to cats. The cat is
five (I think) and very shy and delicate, so she needs a very peacful home, with
no children or dogs etc.
Anyone who can help, please email SAA back (animals_salop@...). If you
publish these emails on the web, please don't publish this appeal as the cat
needs a trusted home with someone we know. Thank you.
Secondly, and feel free to publicise this everywhere, the following event is
taking place in Oswestry, in the Memorial Hall on Smithfield Road. We went last
year and it was a very pleasant event.
On Sat/Sun 23/24 October there is the Exhibition of Healing & Complementary
Therapies. It is free entry and is open from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Dr Hadwen
Trust, who gives money to companies for research that does not involve the use
of animals will be there, as will the Gandhi Foundation, horse whisperer Ray
Smith and various other therapists who use holistic healing for animals as well
as people. The Citizens Commission for Human Rights will also be present. They
are bringing an exhibition which shows the over prescribed abuse of psychiatric
drugs on the children of the planet. Everyone is welcome and as money is not
what motivates me in the organisation of the exhibition, it has a wonderful
atmoshere and energy. Everyone is welcome.
