thank you for the cheque you sent to me for the MCL. It is good to hear
about vegan activities around the country.
I assume Lisa got the MCL stuff from Nottingham as I do not actually
know what you have there. So, forgive me if I suggest something you
already have. Lisa gets New Leaves. You can check in pers (=her/his)
copy for this. On the ads pages there is information about display
panels for stalls etc. They can be ordered from Elaine and Alan Garrett,
if you want them for future occasions. Also if you are interested I can
send you a few copies of New Leaves as they come out. They can be sold
for £1 each as new. The older copies are usually sold for 20-50p as
people see fit. They can also be given free if you judge that as the
appropriate action.There is no need to pay beforehand, only as and when
you sell them. And of course if they are given out free no money is
expected for them.
Some people get extra copies to take to libraries. We have produced a
leaflet that can be taken to libraries and they can then order New
Leaves if they so wish. I can send you the form as an attachment, either
in .doc (Microsoft) or in Linux OpenOffice format. (I use Linux and
OpenOffice. Open Office is good at saving in different formats so I can
send you whichever you want.) Let me know if you would like the form as
an attachment and in which format you want it.
