Could we take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. My name is Derek
Bunce and my wife is Alison. We have opened an independent health food
store in the Darwin Centre in Shrewsbury (near Mothercare) and would like to
offer your members a 10% discount on all products (excluding any other
offers we have running in the shop - for example every customer has 10% off
any purchase if they buy 2 of the same item).



To tell you a little about our shop, we are not the usual health store - let
us explain:



* Usual range of health foods - including a large number of items that
are bulk bought and hand packed in order to pass on savings to our
customers.

* A wide range (that is being expanded daily) of Supplements/ herbal
remedies

* Crystals - chakra healing sets, tumblestones and soon a range of
crystal healing products (pendulums, chakra jewellery)

* Products for the home - candles made out of vegetable wax and scented
with pure essential oils - incense sticks infused with pure essential oils
(no fragrance oils here!) - salt lamps to produce beneficial negative ions -
room sprays (no CFCs - purely pump action!) and simmering granules all with
essential oils and so much more.

* A wonderful selection of aromatherapy items (we stock marjoram,
fennel, vetiver and many other oils that most shops do not stock). If there
is an oil that we do not have in the store we will get it for you. A good
range of carrier oils (sweet almond, grapeseed, avocado etc etc in 100ml to
1litre containers. Our suppliers also supply the NHS, BUPA and the Red
Cross.

* Frozen and refrigerated goods (Fry's vegan range, Redwood vegan
range, Swedish glace and Tofutti)

* CDs covering Reiki, crystal healing, relaxation as well as and
extensive range of English/ Welsh/ Scottish/ Irish folk music. Over the
coming weeks we will be stocking material from all of the nominees for the
BBC Radio Folk Awards

* A vegetarian and vegan take away. For example:

o Smokey vegetable burrito (vegan)

o Assorted flans (all vegetarian - most are vegan)

o Vegan tomato or spinach sosmix rolls

o Vegan organic cake slices

o Sandwiches made to order



Do we know what we are talking about? Well, we do our best. We have been
vegetarian for over 20 years (Alison has now been vegan for over a year and
is happy to advise people considering taking the plunge), my four children
are all vegetarian. In addition, Alison regularly uses essential oils for
cosmetic/health purposes and also makes extensive use of crystals in her
everyday life



So I hope you and your members decide to give us a try. Just produce
Vegetarian/Vegan society membership cards for an automatic 10% off excluding
other offers.
