Dear Dave,

Shifnal Town Europeans Junior Football Club is seeking sponsorship support
from local businesses. We are offering two sponsorship opportunities which
should benefit both us as a club and you as a sponsor.

Firstly we are looking for support for our football tournament, which will
take place on Saturday/Sunday 19th/20th May 2007, through which we are
hoping to put Shifnal on the map. We have invited football teams from far
and wide to participate, with sides from Manchester and Liverpool already
having accepted our invitation.

We are also looking for sponsorship of new football strips for next season.
We provide football opportunities for all age groups which mean that we need
to find more than 400 football kits for our players and these needs to be
replaced every two years. Any help that you could give whether financial or
aiding us with our constant fund raising events would be appreciated
greatly.

Who are we?

Shifnal Town Europeans are one of the leading clubs in the Telford Junior
League; we have a long track record of excellence. We have a large
membership of nearly two hundred and twenty children their ages range from
Crèche Development (6 years) right through to the Youth Team (18 years) and
most are living in the local area. We consider that we have one of the best
run clubs in the area; all our Managers and Coaches are fully qualified to
FA standards and as a club we have been awarded FA Charter Standard status.

So to re-cap on what we can offer you:

As a sponsor at our tournament your business will be promoted in the
programme at the event.
As a sponsor of one of our team’s football strips your name will be
displayed boldly on the kit publicising your business name and logo every
time the team play.


We, as a junior football club, are non-profit making, we therefore rely on
raising funds through sponsorship from local businesses such as you. Our
committee of volunteers works tirelessly for Shifnal Town Europeans, but
they do need your support, to ensure that the club can continue to provide
these opportunities for our young people.
