Hi Gail,
Sorry to hear you've been poorly. My Mum always reckoned that white specks in the nails was a sign of lack of calcium - don't know if she's right. Good sources of calcium include tofu, green leafy veg esp kale, seaweed, dried figs, tahini. As for the dizziness - possible lack of iron. Good sources include dried fuit esp apricots and figs, wholemeal bread, nuts & seeds. Lack of energy - possible lack of protein - good sources include peas, beans, lentils, nuts & seeds. Bones clicking - maybe essential fatty acids (EFAs) - good sources include nuts&seeds esp flaxseed/linseed oil. Many health food shops inc H&B sell oil combinations of Omega 3 and 6.
Don't claim to be an expert, but hope some of this helps!
Hope you're better soon and hopefully see you soon,
Catherine

Hi guys,Glad that you had a good day out on Sunday, sorry that I coudn't make it, but I had been off sick for the whole of the previous week and wanted to make sure that I was back in tip top condition for Monday at work.Recently I have been feeling dizzy and my joints are clicking - any vegan words of wisdom about what I can do to stop feeling light headed and deficient in something. Also started to get white flecks on my nails and this never happened before. Any suggestions as to what I am not eating enough of? I think as a vegan you need to constantly appear to be well and sprightly in order to be a positive advertisement for the cause! Help!Hope to see you all soon.HugsGail

way to spend a sunday afternoon. We all bought our own food to enjoy

or two.
Here's to the next successful social gathering.
