Jolly's Circus were run out of town in Telford, because no one wanted to see
their bear and zebra forced to humiliate themselves....so they're doing what
they did last year and heading for Bridgnorth. Please, we need to stop them.
Readers in Kidderminster and Wolves, please join in! We need support in
Bridgnorth and people who can make a demo! Please, we're the only ones who can
do this. Jolly is a Shropshire circus, performing in Shropshire, so SHROPSHIRE
animal rights needs to deal with it! Please, if you are free, give us a call or
mail!
Thanks to whoever it was who made sure so many of the posters in Wellington came
down! Thanks to all the 'residents' who objected!
Now, let's see if we can shorten their season in Bridgnorth too!
PLEASE, call and email if you can spare any time, any day.

Circus plan is rescued by landowner
A Bridgnorth landowner has come to the rescue of a circus which was forced
to abandon plans for a week-long visit to Telford. Peter Jolly's Circus will now
be open off the A442 Kidderminster Road.
Pressure from residents living next to the original site, near the Falcon
Hotel in Wellington, had led to the owner going back on the previous agreement.
The circus will open on Thursday at Bridgnorth and the 2,000 tickets
already sold in Telford will be vaild.
