Dear Supporter
A very serious security risk has come to light. PLEASE DO NOT PUBLISH THIS ON
FORUMS OR ON ANY WEBSITE.
JollyWatch have alerted us to the fact that ElephantWorld (a pro Jolly website)
have published details relating to Kevin Leftman, (apparently he is the 'leader'
of JollyWatch). Some of these details are inaccurate, and from intital research
MUST have come from the the Shropshire Star letters page, as the address given
is NOT Mr Leftman's actual address but the one used in correspondence with the
Shropshire Star.
The site are currently saying they will publish photos of Mr Leftman & Co, so
any one of those involved in the campaign against animal circuses COULD find
their photos appearing on the net. I can assure you that Mr Leftman will be
taking legal advice (if he can find it cheaply) and that if photos are published
without other just cause (Jollywatch shows photos but only when the subject is
involved in assaults etc) we WILL be complaining to the Police.
The greatest concern here is that the Shropshire Star appear to have leaked
confidential information to the circus. This means that they may well do the
same in terms of hunting and other issues. We WILL be contacting the Shropshire
Star and expressing a VERY serious concern that has arisen here. Please can all
those who write letters to the Star cease doing so, or at least cease using real
addresses. I will keep you informed about the progress here.
