Dear Supporter
Here are some dates, as they stand, for May. Quite a quiet month, so a chance
to take a deep breath or to put your efforts into the national campaigns at
Newchurch and SHAC.
If anyone fancies doing a stall, let us know.
National Vegetarian Week is at the end of this month. Anyone who is getting
bored of the usual animal stuff could get involved with this this as it is so
important to remember grass roots awareness is as important as the high
preassure campaigns. Contact the Veg Group for details (see the web link
below). We're postpoing our joint meeting with the Veg Group, but we're hoping
it won't be long before we can have it...a speaker from SHAC is being lined up.
Please don't stop campaigning. Jolly's are still dragging their bear and over a
dozen other animals around the country...JollyWatch tell us they'll be in Hull
next. Keep the Shropshire people aware that this circus is based here. David
Wright MP has come under huge critisism in the Shropshire Star for signing the
EDM to bring the hunting bill back into parliament. Please support him,
especially in the Star Letters pages (be careful what name and address you
use). starmail@... There's always plenty to do.
