Hello All,
I just joined your group. I'm currently living in Bristol, but we will
be moving to Shropshire as soon as we find a house to rent. I'm
married with a 4-year-old son, who is being raised vegetarian. My
husband and I have been vegetarian for around 20 years.
I hope you don't mind having an American in the group :) We've been in
the UK for about 8 months.
We are interested in relocating to Chruch Stretton, Bridgnorth, Much
Wenlock or any of the other beautiful villages in the area. We were
taken by the natural beauty of Shropshire and we noticed that there are
some natural foods stores in the area. Is vegetarian and organic food
easy to come by? Can you find plenty of veggies, organic dried beans,
tofu, TVP, brown rice, whole grain flours and pastas and other
vegetarian staples?
We're looking forward to getting settled in Shropshire and I hope to
learn more about the vegetarian community. I'm also interested in
sustainable agriculture, pesticide issues, etc.
