episode 6 - the morning after the night before OR nothing happens
Olly woke from his nightmare of counting and recounting the drinks
from a bar and never making the figure tally to find it was
completely dark. Apart from his aching face he hadn't suffered any
other injuries. He seemed to be lying in quite a confined space on a
cold, concrete floor. He tried to revive his sinking spirits by
humming some tunes from his cd collection and working through his
escape plan but without the clarinet he felt hopeless and alone.
Shamon lay still, trying to think through her hangover about what
EXACLT had happened the night before. two nice guys who'd sat
talking to her and buying drinks...the queen...Olly san...two nice
guys talking about the rulership...olly san...the violin...oh
s***!!!! She sat up, groaned and carefully lay down again. how
could she have been so stupid. why had she let herself be talked
into compromising her position so completely especially when she'd
laid her own plans so carefully. she had no idea if she would ever
see them again. and where the hell was she anyway?
miniman was violently shaken awake. "rich 3, can't you think of
another way to wake people up?"
"why change somethng that works so well?"
miniman scowled at him. "What time is it anyway?"
"It's late - almost 8.30"
"wow. i didn't think i'd had that much to drink"
"I know. however, you've still got time for a quick run before the
porridge."
"porridge for supper?" then looking at richard III's confused face
the horrific truth dawned on miniman. "it's morning isn't it? on a
saturday?"
"Well, i have let you lie in"
miniman thought about arguing and then realised that richard III
would never understand what a lie-in meant so sighed and sat
up. "where did we put olly san?"
"In the cellar"
"And Shamon?"
"On the sofa"
"I suppose we'd better go and have a word then"
The Queen hadn't slept. She'd carefully injured a friend so as to
spend some quality time in the A&E follwed by watching a cool video
with some ready-brek and was now feeling refreshed and ready for the
day ahead. she was slightly concerned that olly san hadn't been
around after the show but figured that the clarinet could look after
him. Then she saw the ex-lord walking up the path. he wasn't
singing - a clear sign that something was amiss confirmed when he
reported who he had seen olly san leaving with.
to be continued either either when i'm not tired or when someone else
writes it!
