Hey gang! I just wanted to let everyone know that I've updated my sim
site with 10 new bedroom sets. You can find these at
http://www.diamondsims.com. The site is under a major redesign, but the
downloads are up and ready to get! Please be sure to also sign my
guestbook and check out the forum, I have a Sim Links section in the
forum where you can post your own link or rate the links that are there! I
will also start doing a daily updates newsletter to all the forum member
and will be using this link section so if you want me to include your
update please post your link there so I know where to go and check for
update. I am also looking for staff members so if anyone may be
interested please email me at jbaker@...!
Thanks and enjoy!
Jeni!

Hi there, I just joined and wanted to say how lovely your homes are!!
I don't have Sims 2 yet, but I've put my order in for Xmas! I've
noticed that you are not the only yahoo group that has download
problems. I guess it is a downside of Yahoo itself. Anyway, good
luck on your creations. I shall be back at Christmas time to try
your houses. Take care.

unfortunately, Yahoo has imposed a bandwidth limit on us, but luckily, it re-sets itself every hour.  my only suggestion is to just keep trying to get the file.

This is the first i've heard of this problem, but thanks so much for
informing me about it.  Obviously i don't download my own files so i
would never know unless someone told me.  I'm currently looking into
it and will try and find a solution for you as soon as possible.

Thanks

Sarah

it's because the houses are larger files, so they take up way more bandwidth.  Try compressing them with winrar on "best" setting ... you can get them down to about half their size that way.

Hi Everyone

Not sure how many people are having the same problem as missgmc but
i've logged in under an old account and i get the same error
message.  Not sure exactly what is wrong with it, the message
appears for every file on Sims 2 Housing but for none on Sims 2
Clothing.  I've played around a little and i've just added the
retirement home direct under files and downloaded it ok under the
other account so i'll added the other two houses too until i can
figure out what the problem is.

Did anyone actually manage to download a house before today?

Sorry guys

Sarah

Sorry to be the first person to moan but if this is possibly a groups
problem then I thought you'd rather be informed than not. When I
tried to download the house files, or even the pictures in some cases
I was getting a page error stating that: -
You are not authorized to view this page
You might not have permission to view this directory or page using
the credentials you supplied.
HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden Internet Explorer

Could you please let me know if this could be because I've,
literally, just applied for membership?, or is this a bandwidth
problem? Any ideas?
