Hi Ladies,

Exciting stuff - lots of womens trainings and tournaments coming up, yay! I'm really looking forward to this tour season and I feel that we have lots of potential to go and do really well. But what we need to make sure now is that we have good commitment in the coming weeks in the build up to tour to ensure that the team that goes is as cohesive as possible, this will be a key factor in whether or not we do well.

Thanks to all those who have signed up in the diary (or have emailed) for all the respective trainings or tournaments, this really helps me out a lot. :) There will only be one Release womens team entered into Tour 1 as there has not been enough interest to pursue a 2nd team or combination team (this could change for subsequent tours if there is more interest though). This means that I will be picking a squad of players to take to the first tour. Please please sign up or let me know what trainings and tournaments you are able to make so that I can make this decision soon.

We have had some good training sessions this year and lots of you have been training regulary and improving loads, which has been really good to see. We have however envitably lost some focus due to the mixed season, Paga and the lack of recent womens trainings. I want to get this right back on track now. So (especially those attending tour) please make every effort to attend as many Release trainings as possible (including Thursdays). Its time to think womens again!

Here's a reminder of all the womens-only trainings and tours coming up:

Tue 26th May - SSC GRASS practice (7.15 meet, 9pm finish)
Tue 2nd June - SSC GRASS practice (7.15 meet, 9pm finish)
6th/7th June - Womens Tour 1 (London)
20th/21st June - Weekend womens training (Southampton)
4th/5th July - Womens Tour 2 (Brighton)
25th/26th July - Weekend womens training (Southampton)
8th/9th August - Womens Tour 3 (Cardiff)

As I said, please sign up for what you can make if you haven't already. Letting me know what you can't do is also helpful :).

Thanks, and see you all soon I hope!
Captain Jen xx
