FW: [uniultimate] Re: GB Junior Open Session 2 details   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #21 of 247 |
Hi, this is an email for juniors. The forwarded email details the next training for the guys. If you want help sorting this out then contact me. I suspect you are capable of sorting out transport and stuff though. As already mentioned, it is a great chance to get some good coaching and meet other players in similar situations. And if you get picked you represent GB in Vancouver...

If you are not male (speak to anna with questions on this) then don't feel left out, there are selection days for GB U19 women too. This was not announced on the uk mailing list and the 1st session was last weekend. However, if you make the next 2 trainings you can still get picked. Even if you can just make the next one I recommend you go as you will learn loads (speak to anyone in the club called ellie to find out more). The women are also going to Vancouver and the new skunks ladies are looking like serious gb material to me so go along!

Dates are:
12th Jan - Birmingham
23rd/24th Feb - Loughborough

I forgot to mention - can every player interested in trying out please
bring £20 with them. This is to cover expenses accrued over the season
(tournament entry being the main problem - I'm a poor poor student
with no way of being able to pay for Tour events later in the season).

Thanks,

Dale
