Hey skunks,
Hope you've all had a great summer, but I hope even more that you're
looking forward to getting back to uni. Freshers week is fast
approaching and for all of you that are going to be around I would
like to organise a mini (3-on-3) tournament open to all skunks. I
figure it's a great way to start the term and people can take it as
seriously as they like. There will be a prize for the winning team
and teams will be made up of 4 people. It will be a straight knockout
tournament and the twist will be that the losing teams in each round
will cheer for the team that beat them in the next round in a sort of
biggest winner style until the final where both teams will have a
crowd of skunks cheering them on. Please email me the names of the 4
people in your team so I can organise the schedule. It'll be down on
the common on the thursday of freshers week and it will start at 3
p.m. Feel free to bring beer/food/etc. to the common and we'll make a
day of it. Just remember not to leave any rubbish there. Helen has
agreed to organise a social for the evening (woop)!
It'll be a great way for everyone to catch up before we've got all
the freshers running around.
