I have Winradio 305 (15 kHz .. 1.8GHz) and Perseus.
I have not used Perseus much, because the MW season was over and TV-DX started.
Perseus has many nice features that Winradio does not have, like 800kHz
recording. Also it is actively developed and on user input is reacted on.
Winradio team does not care about user responses at all and are very slow to
fix bugs.
However I like Winradio's user interface more than that of Perseus, also the
reference oscillator is more stable than in Perseus, so offset measurements
don't need recalibration in between.
I am not sure how I will proceed for MW-DX.
Probably Winradio for interactively DXing and Perseus for recording when being
absent.
I have not compared both sensitivities, but I suspect the difference will not
be that big.

Hi Shaun, good overview by Thomas. If you want to use span recording and playback and start using it soon, Perseus is the best bet. Later QS1R will probably...

Thanks Mauno, Sorry for the delay in reply. Life in the real world! The thing that I like and to be honest draws me to the QS1R is the client/server model. I...
