That's very common with Spanish stations David.Distribution is probably by
satellite for some hence the delay.

It can be really frustrating/depressing here in Portugal more or less nulling
one strong one out and there's another underneath with an echo

Why do the Spanish need so many mediumwave stations and who listens to them in
Spain? The FM band is jammed up with the same stations.

Seville (RNE 1 I think)on 684 KHz supposedly puts out 300 KW,I wonder how many
"KW per listener"? It's a massive signal about 180KM away in Portugal.

Anyone notice the echo/time delays between identical programmes on 531khz? very strong echos noted here in Leicester 22.05 regards dave G8SZX...

... With or without echo, the problem is the same. Here I cannot null UK networks like 1053 or 1089. And "local away" of my SplatAway fails also ... Remember...

Hi Jurgen and Hugh Spain does dominate here in UK The echo which did seem like satellite delay rather than propagation delay had a consistent delay time...

Hi David, ... With Perseus you can see & measure the delay between different frequencies in its waterfall when using 1600 kHz width. AFN was a nice example,...
