Hi there

I'm new to this site and hope that someone can help me. I am soon to
be the owner of 4 weaners, and while pig keeping isn't new to me, I
want to be able to feed my pigs natural 'home' food, but I'm not sure
what is best. They will live in an enourmous garden with trees (4+
acres)so will have access to plenty of grass, weeds, mud, shelter etc
etc I also have plenty of access to barley and wheat (free of
charge!)- this is what we feed the hens on. But what is best for my
pigs?

I have worked in the industry before, but always with feed company
rations and specialised diets for intensively raised pigs - I want to
do this small scale and without the expense of purchasing specialised
diets.

Can anyone help? Can I feed them wheat/barley? Should I do something
to it for them? what should I add to it if I can use it?

Many thanks

Tabitha
