RE: [SmallHolding] White Bantam Silkie Cockerel - available in UK

Do you mind if I forward this to a couple of home education lists where
there may be some interested parties.

Regards
Karen

Subject: [SmallHolding] White Bantam Silkie Cockerel - available in UK

Hi,

We have 5 chickens in our garden, all of which we thought were hens until a
couple of months ago - the girliest looking one has turned out to be a
cockerel!
He is now called Peter (ex-Wendy) and he is a beautiful white non- bearded
bantam Silkie, hatched approx. last May-June. I can take digital pictures of
him if you are interested!
He is originally from Wimpole Home Farm (I used to work there) in
Cambridgeshire which is a certified British Rare Breeds Centre.

We really don't want to give him away but we have houses on all sides of our
garden and it is not really fair on them to put up with his crowing, so we
are trying to find him a very good, caring home!

We live in Royston, Hertfordshire (UK) and would be willing to drive long
distance if needed!
Please contact me if you are interested in owning Peter!

Thanks,

Jo
