Yes, that's quite possible, now is just the right time to do it. All
you need is a sharp craft knife, some silver 'duck' tape and a
couple of clothes pegs. Choosing where to add in the new
variety is a bit more difficult - easiest where the 2 bits you need to
join are similar in size. How old are your trees, what form are
they in (standard trees, cordons etc), what varieties are they
and what would you like to add?
