Wish I lived up a mountainin wales....We live in Milton Keynes in Housing
association house and are not allowed tohave chickens although i do intend to
get quaill as they are avery birds and so not covered.. Want to grow a lot of
veg but have very heavy clay and inherited a garden that is graveled with a pond
in the middle. Have a greenhouse and lots of fruit in tubs as the soil is so
bad. working on it slowly. Most if our garden is continually wrecked by our
young dog but this year he will be two and so might carm down. My ambition is
to have a house withat least two acres. trouble is that can not happen until
family die and all are fitter and healthier than I am, so I will be about 70
before I inherit any money!!!!!!! many many years ago i attended horticultural
college and left convinced that organic was the only option, caused by the
attitude of if it moves kill it......
So all ideas on container growing and dog proofing greatfullyaccepted. Oh we
are on a low income and have back problems too so that limits what we can do.
How is that for a start?
