Ooh yes, thanks for forwarding the link to this John. I love Freecycle,
I've given away some bits on there, which I might have otherwise struggled
with recycling (like a huge fridge/freezer) and I have received some great
items too, just today some great wellies. (My spellchecker just doesn't like
that word, you can imagine what it tries to change it to J)
The bike wheel suggestion sounds absolutely fab, Bob Flowerdew would be so
pleased!!!!
Regards
Karen

Subject: [SmallHolding] Are you aware?
How many of you are aware of an organisation called Freecycle?
It is now part of the Yahoo groups and can be found at:
http://freecycle.org/
You can find loads of useful stuff on your doorstep that could save
you a fortune, if you are prepared to look for it and give it a new
home.
Try old Bike wheels for growing Beans up etc.. Stick a pipe in the
ground and string them down and you have the perfect Pyramids!
We Smallholders and Allotment lovers will make use of most things!
Give 'em a go and help stop landfill sites from being overcrowded
with good re-usable stuff!
It's all FREE just looking for a good home...
Maybe you might have something someone else might want?
Cheers
John.
