Are you getting ready to swap your sharp suits for a life on the farm? Channel
4 is looking for people who are planning to start up their first smallholding
for a new series: My Dream Farm. The show will follow six people as they begin
their smallholding venture. It will follow their progress over a four month
period, and will introduce them to a mentor who will be on hand to give them
advice on animal welfare, business management and marketing. The smallholding
can be centred on livestock, poultry or growing fruit. You could be a family, an
individual or a couple who are giving up your 9-5 jobs and are about to begin,
or have just begun, setting up your first smallholding. Ideally, the show is
recruiting people who are considering this as a serious venture - a radical
lifestyle change. Those who are 6 -18 months down the line and are still finding
