hi there malcolm, in poole harbour there is a designated place for
kitesurfers and other sail sports to launch from. this is round at the
sandbanks side of the harbour. there are many places to set up on small
beach. there is pay and display parking all along the road arround this
area. As for kiting in the sea at sanbanks it does get very busy and tricky
to launch and land safely so most kitesurfers launch from boscomb, which is
the other side of bournemouth. this is a great spot but you have to be aware
of the groins along the beach.(not for beginners). anyway i hope this has
