Afternoon all,

Well what have we been up to?  Last Saturday we had a SingStar birthday party at Tim’s house and it really was a full house.  There was pin the tail on the donkey, pass the parcel and lots of snacks and singing.  Amanda and I rocked singing Alice Copper, Poison – both scored over 9200 points, go us!  Go us!  The party bag miniature water pistols were great…until my victim retaliated and poured half a glass of water over my head.  I squelched home not long afterwards…

I hope you all ate lots of pancakes on Tuesday night?  I lost count at 5.  I think it was 5.  Or maybe 6?

Tonight is a special Play Away night – we’re off for pizza!  We’ll let you know how it goes next week, but safe to say I’ll be ordering something like a pepperoni pizza with chillis…mmmmmm…..

For those who fancy it, Jimmy Carr is in town in May - Paula has already sent out details but be sure to contact her TODAY as she is going to get tickets tomorrow before they sell out!

This weekend is the Southern Area Hedge Hop but unfortunately we didn’t have enough people wanting to go to form a team.  Disappointed?  Then sign up early for next years Hedge Hop ;)

Next Wednesday we’re back in Chambers for our AGM.  All committee positions are up for grabs so if you want to get involved in running your club please come along.  We need enough people to turn up for a quorum so please please make the effort to be there at 7.15pm ready for a prompt start at 7.30pm.  We want to get it done and dusted in an hour so normal club night will resume at 8.30pm.  As an extra incentive to come along, we’re working on organising a treat for those who show up to the meeting…keep your eyes peeled for further info!
