Afternoon everyone!

Well what a busy night we had last night – we got to 21 before losing count!  Congratulations to Derek and Palvi who became the latest people to fully sign up with us, and welcome to Will, Dominique, Nicholas, Kate and Kathryn who bravely popped along to see us for the first time.  Hello to you guys, we hope you enjoyed yourselves.

It was also good to see Adam, Jeromie, Karen and David back to see us again – we missed you guys!

So without further ado, this weekend, we’re off to the cinema on Saturday night.  It’s Gran Torino with Amanda and Stu at Cineworld.  They’re going for the 8.45pm showing so will meet you there beforehand to get tickets.  Contact Amanda if you need more info.

On Sunday we’re going karting in Eastleigh (Teamsport karting, Chickenhall Lane, behind Lidl).  You need to be there at 1.15pm to sign in, we have a briefing at 1.30pm and will hit the track at 2pm.  We’ll be done by 3pm and are going for a carvery dinner at the Toby Carvery in Bishopstoke.

We have 2 KARTING SPACES that we need to be taken up as we’ve had to pay for them already. If you want to come (or want to bring a friend) then please hit reply or contact Paula or Dave to claim your space ASAP – it’s £30pp for two 15 minute practice sessions.

If you want to come to just the karting, just the meal or both you’re very welcome!!

We have bought tickets for Jimmy Carr (May) and Michael McIntyre (Oct) for everyone who said they wanted to go.  If you’ve not paid up yet please do so ASAP.  If you don’t have a ticket but want to join us then our seat numbers are listed on Facebook so you try to sit near us (that is, if you want to!).

We’re also trying to decide where to go for our next Play Away night so need your input.  So far we have suggestions of cocktails at Que Pasa or Revolution, another 2-4-1 pizza night at Pizza Express or we could also get a 3 course meal at MINT casino for £8.95 per person.  We could even nip into the casino too…

On Tuesday next week it’s St Patrick’s Day and Paula and Amanda are recruiting a team to do the Pub Quiz at The Blue Keys pub in Northlands Road.  If you’re interested please give Paula a buzz.

Next Wednesday we’re back in Chambers and will endeavour to get our usual spot in the back right corner.
