Hello everyone!
Phew! Yet another busy week has FLOWN by!
The weather at the weekend was superb so what better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon than going for a nice relaxing drive? So that’s what we did, well, sort of. 10 of us took to
On Tuesday night we entered two teams in the St Patricks Day Quiz at the Blue Keys pub. Paula’s team came a very respectable 7th, but Amanda’s team (made up of Mark, Derek, Dominique, Nicola and Alan) won 1st place! Hoorah!
Last night we took up even more room than last week – 25 people we counted! Mark, David, Jenny V and Karen all signed up and Rich came along to check us out for the first time as did Amanda’s friend Susan and my mate Natasha. We also had special visitors National Chairman Adrian and Biggles paid us a visit too – I hope you enjoyed meeting everyone!
We’re also now on very good terms with the bar staff and manager at Chambers and have secured ourselves a 20% discount on all food and drinks – just remind them when you order that you’re with the social club to claim your discount (which they gave us on top of our BOGOF pizzas!!!!).

Next Tuesday Paula is entering a team in the pub quiz at the Blue Keys again – if you want to join her team or set one up of your own give her a buzz. I’ve heard there’s going to be a playdough round…no, I’m not sure either.
