These seminars are really good. You won't get a much better teacher-
he can, and does, regularly train champions.

The second event in the GBSF "assaut" league is confirmed as Sunday
25th June 2006 at Cambridge. The competition will be in a ring and
fought under Savate "assaut" rules. Weigh - in's will be about
10.30am so we will need to leave Spectrum Car Park at 8.15am, should
be home again by about 10pm.
There is still time to get fit and enter the competition, the last
entry date is june 12th 2006.

Sunday 25th June 2006 at Cambridge. Entry fee is £8.00 and weigh in is
at 10.30am. Spectrum team will leave Spectrum Car Park at 8.15am and
will get back about 10pm - if you wanna be on the bus, please write
and confirm.

Sadly there are no clubs in Kent at present.
There was one in Hastings a year ago, there was one in Bromely 2 years
ago, but right now..........none. Sorry
However...I do know of a guy who is currently training in Savate and
will soon be an instructor

The Great Britain Savate Federation are happy to announce that there
will be a "Savate League" for 2006. This will involve a number of
competitions with points being awarded to fighters for winning,
drawing and even loosing ! At the end of the year the fighters with
the most points will be awarded the title "British Champion" for their
weight category.
The first of these events will take place on Sunday 19th March 2006 at
Cambridge Club. Start training now and see how you get on, the event
is open to all GBSF members.

The "Gilles Le Duigou" seminar is 26th / 27th February 2005,
UK Championships is now gonna be March 2005,
GBSF are gonna run a "super league" competition next year which will
be 4 fight events with a grand final in December 2005.
2005 is a World COMBAT Championship year.
2005 is a European Assaut Cup year.
Happy Christmas everybody, I hope you all have a fantastic festive
period, remember to do some stretching especially after dinner !
GBSF have arranged a seminar for early 2005, Gilles Le Duigou is
coming over from France and is bringing Ingrid Graziani (French and
European Combat Champion for 2002 / 2003) with him. Ingrid was also
crowned as Miss France in the same year which proves that figter's
can be beautiful as well as effective. The seminar will take place in
Cambridge on 26th - 27th weekend, we at Spectrum will travel there in
a minibus, stay overnight in a B&B and travel back the next day, so
stat saving some cash and put the date in your 2005 diary of events,
it will be a great seminar, Gilles is about the best trainer in
France.
