Howard,
Is it just this loco or any loco? What address are you using? With
SPROG, addresses 1 - 127 default to short addresses. Addresses > 127
are extended addresses. Are you using an address in the range 100 - 127
and expecting it to be extended? Can you read the decoder OK?
