I don't have experience of the Bachmann chips but, unfortunately, it
sounds like Bachmann have used the same version ID in both chips.
Sorry, there's no other way than physically identifying the chips. This
problem isn't specific to DecoderPro/SPROG.
For the ESU, it may be that ESU have recently released a new version
and DecoderPro hasn't caught up yet. Do you know which decoder is
fitted? You should be able to select a similar decoder and program most
CVs. The important ones like adress are common across all decoders.
