Just a couple of environmental and safety matters:

The Lye is a great place to live. It's a lovely peaceful
environment. However, we've noticed that the Lye is being used again
as an off-road race track by moped or motorbike riders. There are a
couple of cars doing the same. It usually takes place at night.

Also, has anyone noticed that there are quite a few cars being parked
on the pavement on the Lye near to Carolyn Close? A couple of elderly
gentleman (one walking with a stick) were forced to walk in the road
yesterday morning. The pavement surely should not be blocked from
being used by anyone, especially the older person or young children.
And what is someone supposed to do who happens to be a wheelchair user?

We're wondering if anyone else living on the Lye or the vicinity is
aware of these potentially serious matters and whether there is a
Community solution - rather than just notifying police, who may not be
able to do anything as the Lye is an unadopted road.
