Re: [stab_discussion] Hello & Rules Question

Hi Alex

Yes, some members do play it - that's AOR and I know GDB was en vogue a few years ago. Come along! Do you have any armies?

Subject: [stab_discussion] Hello & Rules Question

Hello All,

I would be interested in coming to see you club one Sunday just to have a look a round. I live in Christchurch and have been wargaming / role playing for over thirty years (more of the later in the last decade.)

I'm thinking about starting a new army and would be interested in finding out something about the following rules:

Seven Years War (Age of Reason)
Napoleonic ( General de Brigade)

Do Age of Reason cover the American War of Independence as well?

Are the two rule sets compatible in figure scale, basing and ratios etc or completely different?

I look forward to seeing you all sometime in the near future.

Regards

Alex Nicole

Hi Gary, What's left of my armies are suffering from package fatigue as I've not opened their packets since I bought them some time in the last millennium....

Hello All, Still trying to catch-up on current rule fashions. While looking for more 15mm Napoleonic figures I stumbled across a battalion on 1/300 scale WW2...

Hi Alex Some of the guys do 1/300 - but I think is Cold War (can't call it 'modern' anymore). The rules we use for the Napoleonic are an adapatation version...

I think Andy has a point here! I don't get much time to Napoleonic game - but I have loads of scenarios culled from magazines over the last 25 years to do when...
