Hi Gary,
What's left of my armies are suffering from package fatigue as I've not opened
their packets since I bought them some time in the last millennium. I've never
played AOR or GDB but I started out playing Napoleonic with Bruce Quarries
(spelling) black book and then drifted into Ancients using WRG. I've also done
some 40K & Warhammer but don't currently have a force in any condition to fight.
Most of the figures (mentioned above) are 15mm Napoleonic (French) and I'm not
sure my eyes are up to painting them any more so I'm looking at moving into
25/28mm hence the question on scale and bases re AOR & GDB the reason I mention
both sets of rules as I'm essentially tight (and a Yorkshire man to boot) I
would like to be able to field a force of AWI Hessians who could also do as
Napoleonic Holy Roman Empire Hesse-Kassel c 1805 and 7YW Prussians / Austrians.
Cheers
Alex
