Hi Alex,I have 1/300 7th Armoured and Ariete Divs circa 1941-2 but not yet painted up (another half complete project).A rule set called Where Panzers Dare available free on the internet is a good one. It will soon be released commercially in combination with the 1/300 moderns ruleset Fist Full of Tows III (which is a very good set of rules).I also use Blitzkreig Commander a lot but mainly for 12mm ww2. This is also soon to be released in a new edition. Spearhead is also a very popular ruleset. I haven't used it yet though.I go fairly regularly to a club at Winchester on Tuesday nights and am currently painting up a 15mm Bavarian napoleonic army for Shako II and Principles of War, although I believe the Christchurch club use the Peter Pig rules which I am even less familiar with.I understand that Principles is the ruleset commonly used for competition games though so it might be worth basing yours for versatility if you are interested in entering lots of convention competitions.AndrewRPS Having said all that it doesn't look like I will be at the club very much for the forseeable future :(----- Original Message -----From: Alex NicoleSent: Friday, March 20, 2009 9:33 AMSubject: [stab_discussion] Re: Hello & Rules QuestionHello All,
Still trying to catch-up on current rule fashions. While looking for more 15mm Napoleonic figures I stumbled across a battalion on 1/300 scale WW2 German infantry with a company of Italian infantry. I seem to recall using some Heroic & Ross rules for 1/300 scale WW2. Does anybody at the club do this scale period and if they do what rules do you use?
Thanks in advance.
BTW: Gary, the 28mm Napoleonic skirmish sounds interesting what rules do you use?
Alex

I've never played AOR or GDB but I started out playing Napoleonic with Bruce Quarries (spelling) black book and then drifted into Ancients using WRG. I've also done some 40K & Warhammer but don't currently have a force in any condition to fight.
