Please place any orders to be collected at a club meeting via the shopping cart
on our website a few days in advance. This gives us a reasonable chance to
deliver them.. Martin works long days at Hardyes and then often has to open up
the workshop to prepare last minute club orders received minutes before a
meeting. There are three full time staff in the PP workshop who are ready to
cast and package your orders during their working hours. Thanks for your
understanding. If you choose "collect" you will not be charged shipping. A note
with the club date on the delivery address label will let us know how long we
have to prepare. Julie

I was going to set up a STtaB facebook group, as a lot of us seem to be on
there. just another way of chatting to each other and letting each other know
whats happening etc. Unlike this forum though it will be open i would have
thought, so any delicate email/messages on here me thinks. we can use the face
book to let each other know about shows and gaming days etc. with the RSVP
system on there for events etc
please let me know you thoughts etc.

Hi,
Just to let everyone know, another building application has been made in respect
of the above. The application number is 7-2010-3372-AA. Plans of the proposals
can be viewed at the Bournemouth Councils web site.

The person dealing with the application is a Mr B. Carse. I have e-mailed him to
find out if the new social club building will be available for our use before
the existing one is demolished!!!?

Will keep you all posted.

Regards
Alan.

He is a senior officer with lots of experience in planning, so I would say that was a positive point. It's good to get someone of his level dealing with an application.

Hi Chaps

I was talking to Miles yesterday at Bovvy and he suggested a 'mini sci-fi show' in about a year's time, if we could hire a local school. The idea was we'd run a 40k competition and invite a few local traders and gamers. Keep it quiteb low-key to gain funds to boost the club coffers and replace funds.

Anyone concur?
