Hi All, Information for your prayers. Regards Ernie

Subject: A little later than usual.

Thank you all once again for your continued prayer!

As before the letter is attached as well as below.

GYFC – Prayer

“If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks.  If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap.  It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone.  Don’t you know He enjoys giving rest to those He loves?” – Psalm 127: 1,2  (The Message Translation)

Please join us in praying for the work of GYFC, and that we look always to God “to build the house”, and then to do our part.  Thank you again for your support.

Thanks and Praise:

We thank God for a family opening their home to Jess for her Yfcone year with GYFC.

We thank God for a successful funding bid – please continue to ask God to provide the necessary finances to continue His work through GYFC.

We thank God too for positive meetings with Robert Napier School, continuing to explore partnership initiatives between GYFC, Third Avenue Methodist and the school.

Please pray for:

-         The Smith Family –  Callum, as over the next month he moves up into the pre-school group;  that Mal remains focussed on his MA Studies; that they can sell the car for enough money to then pay off the car loan.

-         The Hyde Family – Ben, Zoë and Emily have not had a good past month health wise – pray that this month is one free from illness!

-         Kirstie –  Continue to pray regarding housing; for the chest infection that she has had over the last week to clear completely; that she can remain focussed on her CYM degree studies.

-         Dave – that he can be a living witness to his two housemates; that a fourth person will come to take the last room in the house.

-         Jess – that God will continue to bless her with the love and support of his people here as she is so far from home!  She gives thanks for her lovely host home family.

-         Phil – for God’s help in being more organised, particularly with the study side of the Engage youth work training he has opted to do during this gap year with GYFC;  he also gives thanks to God for his lovely host home family!

-         133 and Express – for continued blessing on all who come through the doors of the two    drop-ins, particularly the Youth Alpha course that starts this week (Tuesday 7th).

-         South East Youth Alpha weekend at the end of October at Broadstone Warren – the GYFC team are heading this up as hosts.
