Dear praying friends,

Can you believe it’s almost the end of February already!!? 

Two months into the year and we are witnessing some amazing things that God is doing with the young people we are working with.  The number of young people who are interested in learning more about Jesus is such that we are running two discipleship groups!

One of these groups post on our website the things they are learning.  If you frequent the blogging world, please go onto our website and join their discussions!  Or alternatively follow this link http://www.133bloggers.blogspot.com/

It would encourage them hugely if they knew that our supporters were joining them in their thinking and learning!

You’ll find attached and below our prayer mailing for March.  Thank you all so much for your prayers.  The time you are spending interceding on our behalf is clearly being honoured!  

Please feel free to interact with this mailing.  If you believe that the Lord is saying anything specific, if he gives you bible verses, pictures, words of knowledge or prophecy then please feed them in.  We are all in this work together.

Finally please remember in your prayers today (25^th Feb) the family and friends of Sonny Pataria.  His funeral will take place today following his sudden death two weeks ago.

GYFC – Prayer

“Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions.  Don’t worry about missing out.  You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.  Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow.  God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”

Matthew 6: 32-34, Message translation.

The above words of Jesus present us, as individuals and as the GYFC family, with a challenge that leads us to pray and to continue waiting on our awesome God.  Once again, thank you for your commitment to stand with us in prayer for GYFC and we look forward to seeing you at the AGM on 21 March.

Prayer points for March:

• Please pray for Ben and his family as Ben is nearing the completion of his MA Dissertation and may be getting a little stressed. Ben also put his back out this week and has been in some considerable pain. Please pray for a quick healing.
• Please Pray for Malcolm, Abby and their two boys as Malcolm goes away in March for his MA Course and also prepares to visit Romania at the beginning of April to speak with the Director of Romania YFC about a possible trip for our young people.
• Please pray for Jess as she is trying to sort out a VISA to stay here until July (she was originally meant to leave in April) there are some issues at the moment with the VISA and also funds.
• Please pray for Dave as he prepares for his wedding to Laurie in August and is also currently flat hunting for them in Gillingham.
• Please pray for Kirstie as she has deadlines coming up for her course.
• Please pray for Phil and Jess as they head off to their Mid Year Retreat with National YFC and start thinking about their future after their year out.
