Good evening (or rather morning!) all.

We are really sorry to have had to cancel out BBQ but we will get something sorted out for later. A quick update about James:

He was at Marine Cadet Camp near Exeter when his appendix became inflamed. He was admitted to the Royal Devon & Exeter hospital at 10.00pm on Thursday 16th July and had his appendix removed at 7.30pm on Friday 17th July. James appears fine. He was shattered before he was admitted (5 days of Marine Cadets saw to that!) so has slept like a babe today. He came back to the ward at about 10.00 snoring loudly and totally oblivious to what was going on. Hopefully, he will be out and back home on Monday.

Hi one and all,

Carol and Andy are having to cancel the BBQ arranged for Sunday. Unfortunately James is in hospital having his appendix removed. The appendicitis flared up whilst he was away at camp this week. Not sure of all the details, or exactly where he was at camp. The important thing is to remember the Ward family in your prayers. Please pass this info. on to anyone you know who is not contactable by email. Thanks.
