Hi,

Depends on what year of 306. My 1994 (S1) bonnet latch is to the left of the
Peugeot symbol on the grill, and my wife's 1999 (S3) latch is to the right
of the symbol. Once it's been released in the car (opened a little) you
should be able to feel it a little left or right in relation to the centre
latch.
