[Stuart's Peugeot 306 Club] Re: bent rear wheel, bent subframe

Dear all,

After many unsatisfactory 4 figure suggestions on repairing /
replacing my 306 worn rear suspension, I took a chance and drove
down to Devon last Friday morning, where in the space of just over 2
hours, I had a reconditioned unit (axle, swing arms, torsion bars,
the lot) fitted for £350. Peugeot want at least 3 times that and my
independent garage although very honest and thorough, didnt know
where to start. It comes with a 2 year warranty and my 306 now feels
as though it corners on rails. Fantastic. Give these guys a call if
you have a a major rear suspension job, you can find their details
at SSPENGINEERING.CO.UK although check for directions as they're
hard to find, they're in the middle of nowhere.

Fantastic, although I have to question the logic of spending £350 on my 10 year old 306 XS with 98k!! Also I live near Manchester so a 4 hour drive to Devon...
