There is no straight forward route from the engine bay to the boot area.
When I setup mine, under the bonnet, under the windscreen on the passenger
side (what would be the back of the glove compartment areas), I drilled a
hole there and fed the wire through, then get some hot melt glue, or if you
can find a rubber grommet good and water tight enough to fill the hole in,
and protect the wire from shearing on the sharp metal (thus shorting the
battery!). Run the wire under the carpet just beneath the door(s) on the
passenger side also, and under the rear seats into the boot area. That
should sort you out.
Unless anyone's got any other better solutions, this would be your best bet.
