Hi there,

I have a Y Reg Peugot 306 that has recently developed a noise from the
engine compartment.

It sort of sounds like a rattle and occurs as soon as I take my foot
off the acelerator. As soon as I touch the acelerator it diappears.

It is not present when stationary or with the clutch depressed or wnen
coasting out of gear.

Only when moving in gear with my foot off the acelerator.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.
