Reply | Forward Message #1321 of 1411 |
after concidering checking everything to try find out why my curtasy
lights dont come on.i decided to go the easy way.bypass the wires
installed.and wire my own.not a difficult job.just fidly.but its
working ok now.i even installed a spot light.that comes on.when
someone opens a door.

still stumped why my rev counter dosnt come on.and my hand break
warning light wont go out, when i take a drive.but it does go out
when i press the break...lol.checked all connections at the back of
the dash.there ok.
i did notice on taking my seat out today to check over the
alarm.that there is a wire with connector under the front
seats.would this be connected to a sencor for the seat belts.and if
not connected.the handbreak warning light would stay on.

im still no wiser with the wiring to the key switch under the
bonnet.for the reset of the alarm.past owner.cut the wires from the
key switch.all white cables.one as number 2 on it.one as number 3 i
think, and the other number 5.there is one wire uncut.doubled over.
nothing in the manual helps out.it dosnt even mention the black box
under the back seat.mine is quite large, same size as the box under
the drivers seat.but in black.with two block connectors.

and last of all the petrol cap lid.you use the lever in the car to
open it.having got one off a scrap car.theres no way to get the old
one off mine.no access to the back of it.just a pin through the lid
its self.there are two metal pins connecting the unit to the
body.but not screws.or rivets.how would i go about getting the new
lid on.or would i have to buy a locking petrol cap.
